'I wanna feel good right now.'

'So, how are you with Drupal now, do you like it?' - they ask kindly at lunch, on the underground, or kidding when having a beer together.

In the beginning, the answer was a hopeful 'not yet.' Later on, the 'yet' slowly disappeared from the end. Today the answer sounds like 'I don't even try.'

The question I asked myself was: do I want to work at a company where I like the projects, where the milieu makes me feel well, and my colleagues are both valuable professionals and good company. But the technology and program they use are not for me.

It was not an easy decision. As a fresh graduate, it would have been a reasonable choice to focus on my carrier and join a multinational company for a high salary. I made the pros and cons list, and the reasons gathered on both sides. The phrase says: flip a coin, and you will find out which side you pull. This was the final jab. And I realized that I probably would fail even the Marshmallow-test. A blurred vision of happy pensioner days doesn't cheer me up for the wasted corporate years. I want to feel good right now.

'The way is often the goal itself, Serapion' - says the poet, and with IV behind me, I'm ready to face steep paths and the awful content management systems and still enjoy.
