Recently, MTI and several online newspapers have reported that we have been ranked the seventh-best Drupal company by Clutch, a company review platform. In addition, we are currently ranked 11th in PHP development based on customer feedback, market focus, and online presence.

You asked us how we achieved this result. So I thought I'd answer questions derived from those conversations in the post below. Here are the questions from readers and the answers!

What is Drupal?

Drupal is a system that supports the work of web developers, developed by a global community of thousands of people. It is one of the best-known platforms, written in PHP, has the strength of handling complex content structures quickly, and can be easily embedded (linked) with other systems.

Drupal turned 20 years old this year. It has undergone radical changes in the last few years, and as a result, it is now a system used by large enterprises.

What is the ranking based on?

The criteria for ranking are public, but the exact algorithm is not. According to the official description, three main criteria are weighted: references, work experience, market presence.

References are compiled by interviewing the company's clients and conducting a short interview, which explores the whole cooperation process, asking about professional experience, project management, value for money. The results are displayed on the company profile page, and the scores are achieved.

How did you achieve this result?

After deciding to present our company profile on Clutch, we thought about who we had worked with over the years and, asking their permission, gave Clutch their contact details. It took about a year for all the interviews to see the light of day. We achieved impressive rankings after 22 client feedback was sent in, which improved month by month.

It has been fun to experience this process; I am very grateful to the team and our clients for this achievement.

What characterizes your work?

From the very beginning, we had both foreign and domestic clients. Our model is based on a long-term commitment: we put a lot of energy into contracting with clients we can work as partners over the long term, even decades.

Our whole operation is based on this, and it is not primarily a marketing consideration but a personal strength. As a founder, I knew that I was not the "startupper" type who takes risks and eventually builds the business of a lifetime after many failures. This has also left its mark on recruitment. Several people joined the company with a strong focus on excellent results and a collaborative approach. We strive to deepen the process so that there is room to unfold slowly. So we are looking for opportunities where we can develop and continuously refine and fine-tune the service over the long term. In our experience, this approach is critical in the software development industry, as there is no other medium as fast-changing as the web. Five years ago, what was a great solution is now obsolete without conscious business development behind it.

It's essential to get results that can be sharpened as quickly as possible so that the actual user community can test the product and then improve it in the light of the data.

What makes you different from others? What are your strengths?

In one sentence, I would say our superpower is community. We qualify projects together and decide on all significant issues affecting the company. We've discovered new levels of self-organization over the years, and as we grow in this, we find ourselves with more complex projects.
