We described 2022 as the year of uncertainty and 2023 as the year of resilience. Looking back a bit, 2020 and 2021 were no less turbulent. After years of continuous adaptation and seeking new paths, how could we summarize 2024 in one word?
Integral Vision

This year has been shaped by the balance between stability and change. As the world around us continues to evolve, we increasingly recognize that old strategies are no longer enough, prompting us to explore new ways to adapt to emerging challenges. Meanwhile, the routines established within our community offer a sense of security, ensuring the smooth progression of our daily work. The ongoing tension between the drive for innovation and the need for stability has been a defining characteristic of this period.
2024 has been a year of hard work and diligence. Our projects moved forward steadily, supported by established habits, shared values, and a culture of trust and accountability within the team. This foundation allowed us to pause, regain focus, and gather the energy needed to tackle the challenges that lie ahead
Our work this year
This year, we had a launch nearly every month. Our diverse portfolio has become even more vibrant.
RED INNOVACIÓN - We appreciate their renewed website for its bold appearance and the combination of simplicity in structure. We are especially pleased to have contributed to a project that fights for the democratic strengthening of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Votes without Violence - In just a few weeks, we redesigned and rebuilt the website based on Drupal 10, replacing the outdated Drupal 7 version. We found the NDI project not only special because of the fast-paced timeline, but also due to its theme: the site offers methodologies for monitoring, understanding, and developing solutions to electoral violence.

Museum of the Hungarian Language - The renewal of the Museum of the Hungarian Language was a true team effort. We reimagined the website’s functionality and design from the ground up to adequately serve the presentation of the Hungarian language heritage.

On the international front, we launched a new website with our new partner, the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions. The site makes their long-awaited reports on the rule of law in European countries available on a dedicated online platform.

This year, we completed two major revitalizations. For both House of Traditions and Castle Garden Bazaar, the main goal was to refresh the appearance and align it with the new branding. Projects like these always present an exciting challenge in harmonizing old structures with new concepts.

KOGART - One of our exciting new projects this year was the redesign of the website for the Gábor Kovács Foundation, alongside the website for Gábor Kovács's private collection. It was a thrilling challenge to create a design that reflects both the professional and aesthetic values of the Foundation and the private collector, at both a domestic and international level. The collection's pieces and the entire database are now presented in a clean, transparent, and easily searchable format, making them accessible to interested parties, museums, and galleries.

lelkesz.com - One of our long-time, beloved projects gained new momentum this year. The original concept aimed to make the legacies of three Reformed pastors accessible and searchable. This year, we shifted the main focus to supporting pastors in their service to believers and Bible readers. In line with this, we expanded the site with the "Daily Verse" feature to assist with daily spiritual life. Additionally, we made it possible for our search interface to be integrated into church websites, allowing sermons and materials related to the pastors of each congregation to be searchable. The shared backend system, created with sustainability in mind, has now far surpassed the original goals.

NGO projects in Hungary - Our collaboration with the Hungarian civil sector remained active this year. We developed a new website for the Association of Independent Performing Arts, and we completely revamped the Thalassa House website, aligning it with their new branding.

We have a project that we don't often highlight, even though it has been consuming a significant portion of our capacity for years. The European Capacity Management Tool (ECMT) is by far our most complex project—an online application that provides European railway operators with information about track network capacity and supports coordinated, transparent planning for all stakeholders. This year, Zsuzsi wrote a great summary of the project's innovative data visualization solutions.

Human-centered digital solutions
Every two weeks, as is our tradition, we paused to reflect and plan, a rhythm that has shaped our year. These days are about more than just collaborative thinking—they also revolve around our large shared lunches. Since 2021, Zsófi has been delighting us with her vegan creations nearly every other week. However, since the end of summer, she has been exploring India as a solo traveler, and we certainly miss her unique cooking style. Before she left, she shared a reflection on her experience of experimenting with intuitive cooking in the IV kitchen.

Over the past fifteen years, countless influences have shaped our community, leading to significant changes in our journey. The way we see ourselves today fundamentally shapes how we will operate in the future. That’s why it’s important to occasionally pause and reflect on the ideas and experiences that have guided us along the way. In my post celebrating our 15th anniversary, I’ve summarized – without claiming completeness – the principles and thoughts that are key to our current way of working.

In addition to our company culture, the technology we use plays an equally significant role in shaping our work. At the core of this is Drupal. Its strength lies in being built for developers, with a strong focus on creating durable and maintainable source code. This long-term approach has not always been immediately rewarding, but today, the fruits of our perseverance are evident: it seems that Drupal is once again ready to set trends. Based on a presentation by Drupal's founder, Dries Buytaert, I’ve summarized what we can expect in the near future.

Hello 2025
In 2024, we celebrated the 15th anniversary of Integral Vision, and we are proud that our team members have, on average, been working together for 8 years. This long-term collaboration is not only the result of our shared work but also embodies a strong, close-knit community.
While the market and technological landscape continue to demand ongoing adaptation, the key to success in 2025 may lie in finding the right balance between stability and renewal—preserving what we’ve already achieved, while courageously opening ourselves up to new opportunities.
