“Independence: a distinctive operational form, a unique creative position, aesthetic foundation” (FESZ)
The aim of the Association of Independent Performing Arts (FESZ) is to support and encourage domestic independent and contemporary theatre education, puppet, circus, dance, and performing arts activities through its multi-level professional and advocacy work.
Challenge
Elaboration of preliminary concepts
The Association wanted a website that better reflected its professional values and provided space for planned new projects and features compared to the previous one. They didn’t have fully developed ideas, but their team approached the collaboration with dedication and openness.
Solution
Flexible content management tailored to the brand identity
The design concept, including the color scheme, font selection, and visual elements, was finalized relatively quickly. However, the content structure went through multiple iterations and was reworked even during the development phase. Since the website was built using our dedicated CMS framework based on Drupal, designed specifically for civil organizations, we were able to easily and continuously adapt to these uncertainties and offer solutions.
The CMS functionality and database are shared among multiple civil organizations, enabling us to optimize application maintenance, operational, and update costs.
Each organization's website is accessible through its own dedicated domain, and they can freely edit their content. Every element of the delivered website—navigation, header, footer, pages, listings, media—is editable.
The system supports adding posts, events, projects, and members, as well as creating custom categorizations. Content appearance can be customized using a tailored color palette and layout variations, assembled from more than a dozen building blocks (headings, text, highlights, dropdown elements, images, galleries, videos). The content is translatable and searchable.
Additionally, for FESZ, we created a unique, filterable interactive map to showcase its more than 100 members.
