Website redesign to better reflect Oncode’s professionalism and commitment to outsmart cancer

Challenge

Maximizing impact within limited time and budget

Oncode was looking for an agency to refresh their website — not a full rebuild, but a redesign with impact. However, it soon became clear that a complete rebuild would be a better solution for them in many respects.

Given the limited time and budget, we proposed working with our preconfigured Drupal CMS, Modulo, to deliver more functionality out of the box, simplified and more flexible editorial workflows, and a broader foundation for achieving the renewed, more professional, and more vibrant design they were aiming for.

Solution

Enhancing usability, scalability, and content creation

We started by exploring different homepage mockups and creating a detailed content structure plan to determine the best approach for updating Modulo’s design system and identifying the key areas for customization — where it would be most impactful and deliver the greatest value.
A major focus was on improving navigation and usability, including the implementation of a megamenu, on-page navigation elements, and flexible CTA sections. The addition of versatile listing options, combined with a sophisticated filtering and sorting logic, enabled Oncode to create a wide range of listings without significant development effort.

Furthermore, the enhanced layout and paragraph options allowed us to design various page templates that could easily support new content structures introduced after the website has been developed — all without the need for additional design or development work.
