Overview
Structural and visual redesign to better represent an exceptional volunteer-based organization working for a just and inclusive society
Challenge
The association’s previous website was very outdated and it became nearly impossible to publish new content or update existing information. As the organization has no paid staff and is run entirely by volunteers, their financial resources are very limited as well as their capacity for communication activities. It was particularly difficult to coordinate meetings and develop a new content strategy which can be sustainable for the team.
Solution
We made information more easily accessible for their target group and revised the key messages to better reflect their mission, values and activities. We restructured their existing content, refreshed their visual identity and designed some graphical elements to illustrate their work. They needed a simple website which is easy and cost-effective to maintain so we offered our help to customize a Squarespace template for them. According to the team, their followers and clients really like the new design. Their messages are more accessible, easier to find, and therefore better able to help those in need and seeking legal help.
