Our department manages geoinformatics-related public data, focusing on mining, subsurface activities, and spatial regulation. I am the Head of the Geoinformatics Main Department at a regulatory authority.
What challenge were you trying to address with Integral Vision?
Our goal was to redesign and modernize the national mining portal and develop a new, user-friendly digital Mining Map application, website to make geoinformatics and mining data publicly accessible and more usable.

Describe the project and services they provided in detail.
The project included the development of a public-facing website (hugeo.hu) and a custom geospatial map application featuring layers of mining data and regulatory zones. Key deliverables included a multilingual, Drupal-based website with a responsive frontend interface, integration with OGC-based geospatial services, custom map filters and legends, downloadable datasets, and content management tools for our internal editors. Integral Vision has also provided ongoing support and system updates.

The new portal is now fully accessible to the public, offering a modern interface for accessing mining data. We received positive feedback from professional users and institutions. Visitor numbers increased, and the map tool significantly reduced the number of direct data requests to our department.

Overall we were very satisfied. In the early stages, we could have benefited from more non-technical support materials to help internal stakeholders understand the roadmap, but they adapted quickly to our feedback.
