The internal end-user interface of one of the leading players in the electricity market, which supports trading activities by providing an overview of its own portfolio, market information and data. 

Challenge

UX enhancement at the finish line

The application was developed by the Navitasoft team. In early 2023, we were asked to refine the user interface, with the primary goal of optimising the user experience while retaining the design elements and colors.  When we were asked to design the interface, it was already in a nearly finished state ready to be launched, so it was important not to change the structure of the pages. 

Solution

Strategic changes with significant impact

We have proposed changes from a UX perspective, taking into account the development aspects, with a focus on the coherent design and systematic use of existing elements. We have been consistent in the use of font sizes, typefaces and colours for tables and graphs to create a clearer, more user-friendly interface. During the development, we also reorganised the system, streamlining the tiered, branching navigation bar and contributing to the creation of a new logo.
