CEO
"The team was able to communicate the results to us in an effective way. Throughout the development process, we were focusing on the end-user experience instead of prioritizing our interests."

Integral Vision developed a regional social platform.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Érd Media Center is a regional media service provider with a television and radio station and an online platform. When I came to the company in 2014, the online platform was in its initial stage. We wanted a media renewal. The first step was to get the online platform redesigned. I am the CEO and chief editor of the institution.
What challenge were you trying to address with Integral Vision?
Due to the low traffic of the old website, we thought it was time to implement a new design and ergonomic solutions. We needed a social platform. We aimed to create a site that could be a primary source of information for local people.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We hired IV for a development project, but we had also wanted to work with a team that we could consult with about design. The key features of the project included article listings, integration of social feeds, and the development of an easy-to-use editorial system.
Team composition/dynamic team?
When we had our first demo meeting, it was great to see that the team was able to present the completed issues to us in clear, nontechnical language. The team was very flexible. Although we had a well-defined contract, the developers effectively handled the new requests as well.
How did you come to work with Integral Vision?
I asked an online marketing specialist to create the usability/design concept then put the project out to tender. We were looking for a Drupal vendor since we wanted a social platform. Integral Vision submitted a reasonable proposal and impressed us at our first meeting. We also wanted to go for an open-source solution.
Describe the project and services they provided in detail.
Development of a logic model for dynamic home page, productive content solutions, mobile version, social media integration.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It was worth investing in the project. We started to use a mobile version, which was a massive milestone for us. We received a user-friendly administrative platform. Our articles became more popular than before. We have reached more traffic. Based on statistics, we have managed to reach more people from our target audience.
How did Integral Vision perform from a project management standpoint?
The project was in good hands. The agile workflow - e.g., working phases defined by sprints and the story point system- was truly impressive. Every other week we had a demo meeting, which made the cooperation transparent. The task management system was also visible to us, which also increased the trust factor.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Our demos were never one of those business meetings when people are trying to put their values ahead and persuade the members of the other team. Instead, we had real discussions about the users.
Are there any areas they could improve?
When a request was not well-defined enough, the work they carried out was a bit different from what we expected. The team could have handled these situations more carefully.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I recommend them.
